The world of A/P Testing that is...... She has 3 down (A/P Chem, A/P Calc & A/P US History) and 3 to go (A/P Physics, A/P French & A/P Lang)....

We are so proud of how hard she has worked this year, the stress, the tears, the anxiety... we are sure will result in the scoring of many a "5"!!!!!

Macy Won Big Last Night!

Even with a bum knee!!! (More on that later...)

She took a white diamond (the highest placement) for her "Skinny Love" contemporary solo, and a 6th Place Overall award for her "Rebel Girl" jazz solo. I am so proud! We paid a little visit to the doctor the other day to see why she was having more intense knee pain than the common growth plate pain issues she has been having for months. We found out that the bump on her knee cap is what they call "Calcific Tendonitis" and as you may have guessed is caused by repetitive/overuse of an area - her knees. (But I must say, Macy's side leap is AMAZING!!!) So now she wears a brace to isolate the knee and help with the inflamation, lots of ice after dance and ibuprofen. So long story short, we are so happy with her awards last night because she isn't dancing 100% right now. When the doctor asked when she will be able to rest it for a few good weeks I said, "Well, let's see... she has 2 more competitions, 2 performances, a recital, auditions and then a week or two of dance camps...." he rolled his eyes at me..... :) Great Job last night Macy!!!

Well that's where these big flowers are going anyway! They are going to be part of a store's window display!

They turned out really cute and I hope they will be well received!

As for us, we are heading south for some sun, fun, golf, biking, climbing, shopping, running & Easter! Can't wait!!!!

HOSA Champs! :o)

Guess who are the #1 State Champs in HOSA Cert? Carter & Mallory that's who! They competed last weekend in a few different events and placed 1st in Cert! They qualified for Nationals in June to be held in Orlando, and won $300 too! I think Carter is more excited to go to Harry Potter World than to compete, but I would be too! Good luck ladies! You do us proud!

I just hope Carter never comes at me with that black duct tape!

Here's a look at our MaiseysDaiseys cupcake toppers in fine form! I made these for a birthday party a few months back, and was finally forwarded some photos of the finished product! I am so happy with the way they turned out! I can't wait to see more photos that are supposed to be coming my way in a few days of other things I made for Ella's "Posie Party!"

Something a Little More Professional!

I had a professional photographer (from Hawaii!!!) order a custom MaiseysDaiseys Party Hat headband for a photoshoot she was doing. I'm so excited that she sent me copies of the photos! How cute are these! So fun to see how our stuff looks in a more professional setting!

Do You Know What I Would Like?......

I would like feet that look like this:

... instead of the cracked and bleeding feet that I currently have. I won't show you a picture because that would just be too gross! I have been walking around on my tip-toes all day because my heels are too sore to put any weight on. This is my curse - and it is horrible! I love living in a dry climate, but my feet sure pay a price!

Etsy Front Page Treasury!

So this time a MaiseysDaiseys curated treasury made it to the Front Page of Etsy! Whoop Whoop! So excited because this one was so much fun to put together! I just love the tangerine color and and "Muffin" the dog is just too cute!

Hopefully our name is getting more & more recognized!
