Carter's latest report card! If you look closely you will see an "A" for every class, and a 4.0 GPA! Are we surprised? Of course not! She's got a huge brain and knows how to use it. Actually, she's extremely BORED in most of her classes. We need to change that for next year....
Oh.... and she actual wears the hat I knitted her! Hooray!

It was time to choose....

and she chose dance... There just aren't enough hours in the day for Macy to do everything she loves, so we had to make a choice between playing soccer and dancing. And she chose to let soccer go. She is sad but relieved at the same time. She will miss her team and coach, but is excited to be able to focus all her energy into becoming the dancer she wants to be. As parents, Drew and I will miss watching her race up and down the field, but her leaps are killer too! Here's a look back...

Still working hard...

Macy is happy to report that the solo is almost complete! There's only about 10 more seconds to learn and then it's clean, clean, clean!! Now we just have to decide where to compete it.... not an easy task!

In Remembrance...

Carter's Friday...

After a stressful week of school, Carter loves to "Hang" with her friends on Friday night (but who doesn't?). Tonight she's having her friend Emily spend the night. So far I've witnessed some Facebook updating, a Guitar Hero showdown, some Sims on the XBox, some eating, more Facebook, lots of laughing and more eating. Not sure when they'll call it a day - I'm going to bed! Needless to say, Carter's Fridays are very different from Macy's as you'll see by the post below... :)

Macy's Friday.....

It's that time of year again... SOLO time! Macy is hard at work with her teacher Nicole working on a very cool lyrical number. I keep hearing from people who have seen it how fabulous it is! Only two rehearsals and it's already good! Way to go May!Working hard....

Then it's off to Tap, Ballet & Jazz...
And this is what she looks like and the end of her fourth hour... Friday nights are early to bed!

to Grandbob who's having hip replacement surgery today. We'll be thinking of you, and we're sure you will be back in the "swing" of things in no time!
