We're almost there!

The "Pageant Costume" is almost complete! We just have to figure out the shirt part still and the socks. Then Macy is ready to roll!

Except the sad thing is she said she might not want to wear it to school tomorrow... :/ I think she's starting to feel a little embarrassed... I say "Go for It!" It's Halloween after all, you be can as stupid looking as you want and nobody cares!

Now for Carter's Personal Space Invaders costume... any ideas?

The end of Fall...

today I enjoyed the last day of fall...

tomorrow brings a foot of snow... (sigh)...

Macy's technique just keeps getting better & better! Kinda like Carter's brain!

My new favorite thing... "GILLY"

Because I feel like I need a lot of laughs these days, "Gilly" has come in to my life and fits the bill perfectly! Kristen Wiig is the new Molly Shannon for me, and I can sit and laugh for hours watching all her skits (did you see the Beauty & the Beast skit last Saturday? A definite "must check it out" for sure!). Having been a dedicated Saturday Night Live fan for the past 30 years, it is great to have a new character introduced that can make you roll on the floor uncontrolably with laughter just like in the good old days of Mike Myers, Chris Farley, Dana Carvey, Will Farrell and all the rest who have moved on and taken my laughter with them....

So here's to new laughs and Saturday's with Gilly - I'll be tuned in and ready to roll!

Saturday's Activities....

Macy gets to "Hip Hop It Up" with Gev from So You Think You Can Dance today! Because as we all know, dancing 5 days a week isn't enough... she needs to do 6! (Just kiding...)
While Macy is dancing, Carter and I are going to cruise around Gateway and check out what's new in the world of fashion and high tech toys! Should be a good time!

After shopping we then get to watch Macy perform all the dances she has learned throughout the day. Definitely a good time!

Cousin "It"...

Would be the perfect Halloween costume of choice for Carter I think....

On a side note - she's leading the race for "Best 9th Grade Hair" and will have a yearbook page in her honor this year :)

She would have been 21 years old. I miss her and still feel so much love for her...
