A Flute Duet...

Macy & her friend Jenna got to perform a flute duet in front of the 3rd, 4th & 5th grades this morning. It was an assembly to let the lower grades become familiar with all the instruments of the band & orchestra so they can decide what they would like to play in 5th grade - unless they love to sing and then it's off to choir. They did a great job, it was a hard solo with each of them having to play at different tempos. It was funny though, I got so used to seeing Carter play that I kept thinking it should be her up there instead of Macy. They have exactly the same mannerisms while playing. It was fun to see. I got to be a proud parent once again!
