My jaw hit the ground....
A couple of weeks ago Drew called me from Salt Lake to let me know that the house we lived in when we were first married, and owned by my parents at the time, was up for sale. When you hear something like that, I think your mind immediately goes back to the time that you lived there and brings back memories. I have some really great memories of living in that house, some with my friend Suzy when we lived there together first, and then with Drew. My favorite one is watching a then puppy "Biner" running around the yard. Since I had to go down to Salt Lake for a Dr.'s appointment on Thursday anyway, I thought I would drop by and pick up a flyer just out of curiosity. Now even though I have fond memories of the place, I will occasionally have a nightmare that Drew and I have to move back there. Every time I go back, the house has completely changed and I feel lost and disoriented - just one of those creepy dreamlike things I guess. Well needless to say, my jaw hit the ground when I saw the asking price! Could they really want $280,000.00 for that house? When we were living there it was valued at about $85,000.00! Now at that time it did only have 3 bedrooms not four, and 1 bathroom, not 2. The kitchen had not been remodeled or extended, but even with these upgrades, I can't believe they're asking that much money for it! Oh well, I hope the owners get their asking price for the sale, but I can tell you for sure they won't be getting it from me! I'm not moving back.... well, except for in my dreams....

Holy crap!! I've had dreams of moving back to that house too. We had good times there!! Did they just bump out the back and add a bedroom and bath and extend the kitchen??
