Seriously, you'd think he lives here...

Bogie came a knockin' at the door today, I opened it up, he walked in and immediately laid down. This didn't happen once, but 4 times today! This dog is in need of some serious attention from his owners... where are they? People, if you're going to have a pet, please show it some love!

Happy Birthday Ford!

We are thinking of you today!

Oh how we swore.....

that one of these would NEVER touch her hair! No, it's not a dead rat, it's a "Wiglet!"
I am basically speechless...

Someone with this amount of hair should NEVER have to wear one, but it was required for Macy's Ballroom performances.

Macy: "Mom, can I cut it up when I'm all done with it?"

Me: "Go for it!"

Yet another....

to throw upon the stack! It just keeps growing & growing....

Such the brain on this one!

Girls Night Out!

Carter, Macy and I had a great girls night out last night with dinner and a movie. We went to see Michael Jackson's "This Is It", and it was amazing! I felt like I was back in High School all over again watching all his moves. As wonderful a movie it was to watch, at the same time it was very heartbreaking, knowing he wouldn't be around much longer. Some of the footage is from his rehearsal the night before he died, and it really makes you wonder how it could be possible that he is gone - he was in amazing shape and looked great. You see how hard everyone was working, from the musicians, dancers, backup singers, technicians and Michael himself. It is so sad that the concert never came to pass because it was going to be amazing, especially the "Thriller" re-creation scene. So glad I went to see it.

Afterwards, we had a great dinner at Panda Express. Nothing like some yummy fried food on a Friday night!

And a "Shout Out" to Drew who is doing some climbing in Zion & Red Rocks. We miss you!

Where the Wild Things Are...

We just returned home from seeing this movie...

It was incredibly moving, and the "Wild Things" were absolutely amazing!

Goodbye Ann....

I came across this on my run this morning. A written garden of sorts. It appears that "Ann" is moving and a lot of people are really going to miss her! Each petal had a sweet message from friends and family. I thought it was such a sweet sentiment and it got me wondering if anyone would do that for me if I moved.... Sometimes I find myself wondering if I am an influence of any kind to anyone. Does anything that I do make a difference to anyone? I guess we all think that from time to time. Then I have to remind myself to stop looking at my feet, keep my chin up and remember there are people who appreciate me even if I can't see it or hear it each day =)

A Horoscope of sorts...

I'm usually not a big believer in horoscopes, and very rarely do I complete the quizzes on Facebook, but I saw this one and thought "What the heck".... this is what I got... (click on the pic to enlarge)

For some reason it seems to be right on the mark. Words I needed to hear today...
