A Killers Concert & the Halloween Isle in Walmart...

It was one-on-one night at the Bedford household this evening. Carter got to go have a Sushi dinner and attend "The Killers" concert with Drew, and Macy and I got to spend some time together just hangin' out (because you know, we NEVER get to spend ANY time together at all!). Our big evening consisted of checking out the Halloween costumes at Walmart. You can never plan these things too early you know! So... which of the masks did Macy decide on?....
Toxic Avenger, or.....
Psycho Clown, or.....
Near-Sighted Monkey, or....
Creepy Plastic face, or....
Glam Plastic face, or....
Red Devil Thingy?

Actually she's not going to be any of these... She's going to be "Little Miss Park City Grand Supreme!" Because we find those little girl pageant shows on t.v. so disturbing - so what would make for a better Halloween costume. She has the hair for it anyway!

Maybe we can get Carter to go as "Miss Teen Park City Grand Supreme!" She has the hair for it too!

And FYI - this is a real little girl, probably the age of 8 or so... very creepy how they make her look like a real doll....

It looks (and Feels) like Fall!

Park City looks amazing right now with the change in the leaves. The mountains are bursting with colors, and I am trying to soak them all in before the snow flies! Here's a look at what we have been experiencing of late....This is what I get to look at everyday in the "Mommy-line" while I'm waiting for Macy to come out of school...
A tree in our yard...
A hike on our trails...
Mountain after a rainstorm...
And the last of the summer daisy's...

It is amazing!

I am relieved to say that Carter's 5 day migraine is now gone! Yes, that's right, I let it go on for 5 days (not knowing exactly what we were dealing with), until she finally couldn't take it any more and we needed to get some professional help. Half a pill and 1 hour later she was feeling much better. Now we know the signs and can act upon them ASAP! Sorry you suffered so long Carter, I won't let it happen again! :(

Working HARD on SOLO #3!

One word that would best describe Macy's new dance studio - "Intense!" She is working really hard and it is definitely paying off! Here she is hard at work with Nicole on her 3rd solo. Nicole has made it much more challenging than last year, with a more contempary edge to it. They've only spent 3 hours working on it, and Macy has learned half the dance already. It looks amazing!

Practicing for Picture Day...

So Carter was giving me a hard time the other day regarding the lack of updates to the blog (sorry, been a little busy!), so this post is dedicated to her! Here we are taking practice shots for school picture day.... which actually took place the first week of school... so I am a little behind on the updates.... Oh well. I think they all look great and can't wait to see the real thing!

The MADNESS that is IKEA!

We were brave! We went to IKEA & managed to come out alive! As something to do on Saturday, we decided to have a little shopping trip to IKEA - Carter had never been there before, so I felt like it was time for her to have this experience. We wound our way through, and 3 hours later managed to come out the end! You forget how massive that place is and how overwhelming all their products can be. Carter is now psyched to move out of the house and furnish her own apartment.... maybe it wasn't too smart to take her there...Macy is really excited to go in...
The anticipation...
Fighting the bags...
How do we get out of here?...
