Open House at the NAC!

Luckily for us, the National Ability Center had an open house yesterday, and as part of Carter's birthday celebration she wanted to go and show us just what the NAC is all about. It is such a cool place, and every time I'm there, I just feel so appreciative of its existence - as does Carter! There are so many fun activities to participate in, I can see how you would walk away from the center feeling as though you have so many more abilities than disabilities. Drew had never been there before, and was equally impressed! We had such fun taking Carter's guided tour, and it made me that much prouder of her and her love of volunteering there! On our way....
Running into Sarah, one of Carter's new friends from a discovery camp she volunteered at...
Checking out the indoor horse arena... Carter has such a cute smile, but then you're eyes are drawn over to Macy (enough said?)....
Some simple, very cool art work painted on a left-over door...
Feeling some love from one of the camp's regulars!
