Tag, you're it.... and other steep climbs!

Carter had her first real High School experience last night going to Park City High's Homecoming Football game. I guess the cool thing for the Seniors to do is "Tag" the younger middle school students with black sharpie markers - you know, hold them down and scribble all over their faces. If you tried to run from them, the result would be that much worse, so better NOT to fight it! This reminded me of the start of my 7th grade year when all the 9th graders would "Lipstick" the younger kids.... Good Times!"

Meanwhile... Macy got to go on a fun field trip hiking up Mt. Timpanogos to the cave. She had done this before when she was about 5, but didn't remember much. She did come home a little freaked about how steep the cliff was off the side of the path, but everyone was very well behaved and had a really good time and there were no close calls. Once we pulled in the driveway after pick up at the bus stop, Macy promptly walked up to her bedroom, shut the door, and took a 2 1/2 hour nap... so unlike her! So either the hike was really tiring, or all the Nutcraker rehearsals are finally catching up with her. I think lots of sleeping is planned for this weekend!Carter "Tagged"....
